"Senior Service"

The time has come to pick if I should do Senior Service or stay in school until June

This is my last year in high school so it would be nice to stay but truth is,
 This school gets scorching hot, especially in the afternoon.

Senior Service is an opportunity to take up an internship and learn something new
I'll admit I'll miss learning about the brain in Biology and English class reading The Taming of the Shrew.

Since my major is nursing you would think I'd pursue an internship at a hospital
This is not the case, since I'm working with father at Primerica Financial Services
I'm going to be taking  classes to obtain my life insurance license which makes me a bit nervous
But once I pass the state exam, I will be able to sell insurance to those who are in need
Which makes me happy because I'll be doing a good deed.

I have a countdown for when Senior Service starts, which is twenty days
I can't believe it's already May; this year went by so fast, I'm amazed!
Many of my friends are doing Senior Service which I think is excellent
I hope they learn something new and are left content
As for me, I'm going to make this the best experience ever,
So wish me luck on my incoming endeavor.
