"Midterm Nightmare"

Midterms are approaching quite soon
I have to push myself and study until the twenty forth of June
Luckily I only have to take three midterms this year
Otherwise I would be trembling in fear

AP biology is the one I'm most worried about
Photosynthesis, organelles, alleles; these things I can't account for
Because honestly they make me want to snore

Then there is F.A.S.T; if this class was a race I would surely be last.
Finally there's English, but I don't feel glum
I just hope Athena lends me some of her wisdom
Enough with being pessimistic because I know that gets you no where
I have to have a strong work ethic and be prepared

I have to focus and study hard so I have an exceeding grade on my report card
But whatever happens, happens. The future I cannot foretell.
I'm just praying that everything will turn out swell.

  1. Loved this poem! I liked how you mentioned Athena. I'm so glad there is no stress of finals because of Senior Service!!
